Summer is finally here! Okay, it’s technically a few weeks away, but we won’t let that get in the way of a good time! June is a big month of recycling promotions for us, so let’s get right to it…
The First Annual Dakota Valley Recycling Summer Drop-Off Event
In the past, we all had fun at the I Love Burnsville recycling event. But this year, Dakota Valley Recycling is starting a brand new wonderful tradition that’s open to more than just Burnsville residents.
On June 5th, 2021, we’re teaming up with Dakota Valley Recycling for the first Summer Drop-Off Event. Residents of Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, and Lakeville can bring these items and get them recycled at a per-item fee:
- Appliances
- Electronics
- Scrap metal
- Bicycles
- Confidential documents
- And more
This event will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Burnsville Maintenance Facility (13713 Frontier Ct, Burnsville MN 55337). For more information about the Dakota Valley Recycling Event, please check out this page.
Burnsville 2021 Curbside Collection Week
This promotion is only for Burnsville residents (Sorry to the other cities! We still love you.). From June 7th to June 11th, 2021, we’ll be holding our annual curbside recycling collection week!
That’s right, we’ll be cruisin’ around and picking up items to recycle for a discounted price (If you sign up, of course). Some of the things we’ll take include:
- Appliances
- Electronics
- Televisions (fees vary by size)
- Furniture
- Toilets
- Mattresses, box springs, bed frames
- Exercise equipment
- Lawnmowers and snowblowers
- Leaf blowers/weed trimmers
- Patio doors, storm/interior doors
- Tires
- Pricing
